MYTH: Hiring an interior design is expensive

TRUTH: Yes - a traditional interior designer is expensive, and I’ll be frank: no matter how you shake it, it is a luxury service. But, Abode Virtual Design has kept our services accessible by meeting virtually and keeping our design process streamlined to deliver the most important information with a quick turnaround. This all means that our fees are much lower than a traditional interior designer.

MYTH: Interior design cannot be done remotely

TRUTH: It can! Thanks to email, measuring assistants, and video meetings we can utilize technology to eliminate the need for site visits and perform everything virtually.

MYTH: A remote designer will never be able to “get” my design style

TRUTH: That is why we start off every project with an initial design consultation - it gives us time to connect, get to know each other and chat just as if we were meeting in person. This sets the foundation for our entire design process and our relationship as client/designer and allows us to understand who you are and what your design needs are.
